About the Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer with a strong focus on API and integration testing who will play an important role in ensuring the stability and quality of our platform.
You will work closely with developers, product owners, and the QA team in an Agile cross-functional environment, contributing to the quality of integrations, backend services, and platform infrastructure.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigating APIs, validating integrations between services, and ensuring high product reliability.
Your Responsibilities
Perform API and backend testing to ensure reliability, stability, and performance of services.
Design, develop, and execute API test cases and automated API tests.
Validate API responses using Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
Work with tools such as Postman, Rest-Assured, or similar API testing tools.
Create clear, reproducible bug reports and support developers in identifying root causes.
Execute and maintain regression test suites for product releases.
Participate in Agile sprint planning, refinement, and review sessions.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA colleagues to improve overall product quality.
Conduct manual integration testing between different system components.
Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Support the integration of testing activities into the CI/CD pipeline.
What We’re Looking For
Required
3+ years of experience as a Software Tester or QA Engineer
Strong experience in API testing, backend testing, or integration testing
Hands-on experience with Postman (or similar API testing tools)
Solid understanding of QA methodologies and Agile development
Ability to write clear and reproducible bug reports
Professional level English (written and spoken)
University degree, preferably in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering
Nice to Have
Experience with test automation
Programming knowledge (e.g., JavaScript or Python)
Experience with Rest-Assured or similar automation tools
Experience working with CI/CD environments
